  • Applies to those under 17 years of age - 720 ILCS - Child Curfew Act - Unless going directly to or from an official school activity or employment (or another statutorily authorized event), juveniles 16 and younger may not be in a public place without direct adult supervision between the hours of:  12:00 am to 6:00 am on Friday and Saturday nights, and 11:00 pm to 6:00 am on Sunday through Thursday nights.


    Applies to those under 18 years of age - 625 ILCS - Graduate Driver's License Restrictions - Unless going directly to or from an official school activity or employment (or another statutorily authorized event), juveniles 17 and younger may not drive a motor vehicle unless under direct adult supervision between the hours of: 11:00 pm to 6:00 am on Friday and Saturday nights, and 10:00 pm to 6:00 am on Sunday through Thursday nights.

  • 2-3 days after an incident, a copy of a report may be obtained by calling Records at (847) 540-3251. A Freedom of Information form (FOIA) or subpoena may be required. There is no cost for a report under 50 pages. Traffic Crash Reports are $5.00.

    Inspection or copies of Village records may be obtained with a Freedom of Information (FOI) request forms and faxed to 847-540-1769. Request can be emailed foia@lakezurich.org

    As of January 1st, 2026, Illinois Public Act 104-0438 requires FOIA requests shall appear in their entirety in the in the body of the email making the requests. Attachments or hyperlinks are no longer acceptable means for freedom of information requests. Please include as much information as possible.
