The Fire Prevention Bureau Offices are located at:

Fire Station #3
1075 N. Old McHenry Road
Ph: 847-540-5073

The Bureau is responsible for all inspections and building plan reviews within the Village and the Lake Zurich Rural Fire Protection District.

Programs

The fire prevention bureau stays active within the community by providing a host of programs to promote fire awareness and safety. We monitor fire and severe weather drills in the schools, educate children in fire fighter recognition, water and fire safety, and teach exit drills in the home to middle school students. The Department also has public CPR and First Aid classes. We also welcome all community groups to tour our stations and receive information on what we do and why we do it.

If you are interested in a fire station tour, fire engine visit to a block party, home fire safety inspection, burn permit or have any question related to fire or life safety, please complete a presentation request form.
