East Main Street continues to be a construction zone as underground water and sewer pipes undergo replacement. Sidewalks and parking bays on the northern side are gradually being constructed. In contrast, the existing sidewalks on the southern side have been removed, and the area is undergoing preparation for concrete restoration.
There will be ongoing detours with flaggers assisting drivers in accessing local businesses. Drivers
are strongly advised to utilize turn signals to indicate their intention to turn west or east at the Old Rand Road intersection. Additionally, the intersection at Lions Drive and East Main will be mostly closed to traffic throughout the upcoming week. While the intersection at Church Street will encounter some closures, it will remain open to the extent possible.
