The sale and service of alcoholic beverages, unless otherwise specified within a license class or through a special use permit, are restricted to the hours between 6 AM and 2 AM (the following day).

Tobacco Retailer

Need a new tobacco retailer license?
Download our tobacco retailer license application. Review the ordinance that instituted the tobacco retailer license and the restrictions on Delta-8 and Kratom.

Do we have your manager's information?
Upon the change of business managers, new managers are required to undergo fingerprinting and a criminal background check. Failure to update this information may result in the suspension of your liquor license.

Adding or removing gaming terminals?
You may submit a request to change the number gaming terminals licenses for your business using an easy online form.

Need a liquor license for a special event? 

Please complete your request at least 3 business days before your event.  

You may use our online form to submit a digital request. Online payment instructions are provided on the form.

You may also use a printable form, return it via email or drop it off at Village Hall. Online or in-person payment must accompany your special event application.

Gaming License Clarification/Information
The Village Board approved a clarification to the issuance of Class V Liquor/Gaming licenses for establishments wanting to locate within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Lake Zurich. The ordinance is available online.
