1. What is the Village’s property tax rate?

The rate for tax year 2019 (payable in 2020) is $1.011 per $100 of EAV.  A decrease from tax year 2018 (payable in 2019) when the rate was $1.092 per $100 of EAV.  With new developments added to the tax rolls, the tax burden on individual homes is decreased.

2. Whom do I contact regarding my property tax bill?

Please call the Lake County Clerk at (847) 377-2000.

3. When is my water / sewer bill due?

Bills are due 15 days after the bill date. Generally that will be the 15th or 16th day of the month.

4. Can I auto pay my water bill?

Yes, you can have the Village deduct your monthly water bill from a checking or savings account. Please complete the online form linked below. Automatic Payment Authorization
